new cast

wrist update: i got my long arm cast off last thursday. my arm is healing nicely so i got to be put into a short arm cast. it'll only be on for two weeks. my new cast is completely waterproof. believe me, it only sounds good in theory. the material they use is a form of fiberglass and isn't nearly as comfortable as the "sock" they use in a regular cast. plus the guy (non-french guy) did a really crappy job and it was cutting me so i had to back in to have the nice french guy fix it. it's still bothering me but there's only a week and a half left, so i think i'll tough it out instead of paying for a new one. it's also hurting more now but i think that's just because i have more freedom with it. i'm sure it'll just take time to get back to normal.

interesting note: it really tickles when you get cut out of a cast.
