Crafty inspirations

Today's feature are more cards. None of them were done by moi though. These are all cards that my family has received over the years. They're just too darn cute not to share.

Our first lucky contestant is my girlfriend Robin. She claims that she only scrapbooks and doesn't make cards. I beg to differ.
-------------------------------------------------------------
This one is from chopped liver, er, Heather. How does she find time to stamp with 5 boys? Well, she doesn't. Not much, anymore. She made this for my lover's surprise luau (aka 30th birthday). She had a couple less kids then.
-----------------------------------------------------
100 years ago when I used to be a Stampin' Up demonstrator I had this really amazing upline. Not only is she a wonderful person but she has sweet stamping skills. Here's some proof.
This one had some water damage so I just ripped the back off and kept it for the idea.
--------------------------------------------
I usually end up having a Stampin' Up party about every six months. This seems to be the only way for me to afford to get any of their luscious creations...free. Can't beat that payment plan. Anyway, after I stopped demonstrating I would just have my afore mentioned upline do my parties for me. She has since quit and I had to find someone new...boo hoo. I did happen to find another great gal though, Mikel. She has blessed me with many cards but apparently I only have a picture of this one. Who'da thunk to do a Christmas card in these colors? Brilliant!
------------------------------------------------------
Next we have Wendy. Wendy is my sister in law. She has totally rad art skills. Three words...graphic.design.degree. Need I say more?
----------------------------------------------------
Last but not least is my madre. She has been stamping since the beginning of time. Back when D.O.T.S. was still alive and kickin. Does anyone remember D.O.T.S.? That poor company was stuck in an 80's time warp, couldn't seem to update their products. Ick. Glad that ship has sailed. Actually I think they changed their name and tried to join the 21st century. Who knows?
This book is super cool. You can make it out of lunch sacks or 12x12 paper (I think, sorry I forgot the specifics). It's like a mini scrapbook. She made it for G jr's safari birthday (remember the alligator cake?). It's full of pages to put pictures or write notes and pockets with all kinds of goodies inside. Take a gander...
These are some of the tags she had hidden in the pockets. There were little activities for him to do, notes, etc. Fun shtuff I tell ya.
Well, that's all I've got for you on Super-de-Duper Saturday. My scrapbooking friend, Robin, will be here in an hour so now I must go shower. She'll appreciate that.

I love saving stuff like that! Some of those cards were awesome.
I have a book that tells you how to make that book thing - it is with lunch sacks. So cool!
