I really think I could just make every blog post from now on a list. I love lists. Here we go...
z. I joined a fantasy football league. Only because my husband made me. I'm also part of his fantasy wife league. I think I'm winning. Well, let's be honest...I'm just glad I haven't been voted off the island.
y. Kmac and little G started piano lessons this week. They absolutely love it, which is great cuz it could've gone either way. The other great thing is that our uber generous friends gave us their piano. I know, right? Isn't that awesome? Thanks friends!
x. We had new neighbors move in across the street today. I had been praying for a family with kids...preferably nice kids. Well, they're kids alright. About 4 of them. Of the male sort. I don't know if they're nice or not. I knew we were in trouble though when I saw them unloading and everything was in garbage bags. That's really not a good sign. Or maybe it's just an indication that they wanted to pack things in bags. I'll quit judging.
w. I have a huge watermelon out in the garden. It makes me smile huge. We also have some smaller ones. They make me smile small.
v. Little G decided to try playing baseball again after taking a year off. He just started fall ball. His first practice is Tuesday and games are every Saturday. He's really excited about it. Me too.
u. I always thought it was really stupid that the library has a 100 book limit for checking out. Yep. That rule is not so stupid. Maybe I should appeal to have them raise it. Or just quit checking out so many dang books.
t. My main squeeze has a birthday coming up next week that I'm really excited about.
s. I'm on day 9 of the no-poo challenge. My hair is nasty. Flat out nasty. I had to hide my shampoo and conditioner so I wouldn't be tempted to go running into their outstretched arms. They hide in the cupboard under the sink and call to me...whisper my name. I.shall.resist.
r. I finally finished painting my bedroom. I totally excited. I'll post pictures...well...as soon as I take some. And download them. Then upload them. Then click on "publish post."
q. It really took me a long time to try to figure out the alphabet backwards.
p. I'll end on "p," cuz that would make my little boy giggle. And I love his giggle. Even though potty talk is only slightly sanctioned around here.

i love lists. it's somehow so much easier than paragraphs even though it's really the same idea.

one of my dearest friends uses baking soda and water (frangranced with essential oils) for shampoo and coconut oil for conditioner. She even makes her own body wash for her entire family of 6. the body wash thing, I'm looking into. the shampoo thing I may start for Genny. The shampoo thing for me, last year, didn't work so well. It made my naturally curly hair a frizzball of craziness...
maybe i did something wrong.???
Ok, so in regards to potty talk, I thought the no-poo challenge was, well, you know... And I was like "Why would she want to go without poo for 9 days?!"
And then I read about hair like 3 words after that, and it all kinda made sense.
Although both are just so gross to me. Can't do it, wouldn't want to try, but more power to ya!! :) :)

I totally did the no poo thing for about six weeks!! I was totally deturmined to make it work, but I finally gave up...that shower with shampoo and conditioner after a month and a half was HEAVEN. It was like an Herbal Essences commercial...totally a PG13 moment there...I kid, I kid! Sorta.
