Okay, so I'm 99% finished with my bedroom. And I'm totally stoked about it. I have several projects that I actually finished. This is amazing coming from a gal that likes to start projects and not finish them. This also means that my man is a little excited about this here bedroom too.
We call it our sanctuary.
First, we got a new bed. When we moved out of our old house we sold the one we had and upgraded to a king size. Which is the size of bed you need when you have an imaginary line down the middle that your spouse is not allowed to cross. Yep, we're one of those couples. That's what happens when your husband drives truck for 10 years and isn't home at night. We are just not used to having the other person in bed at the same time. Now that he's only driving occasionally, when he's home at night he has to stay on the other hemisphere of the bed. No touching allowed. Zip. Nada. Zilch.
Anywoops, the next thing I did was paint the walls gray. The one behind the bed is about 2 shades darker than the other three. I matched the colors to the new bedding (I guess that was actually the very first thing we purchased...the bedding...I love it!). Little G helped me with the painting. Love that kid.
Then...my favorite part...the tattoo. That's what it looks like to me. My wall tattoo. I painted it on. Let me rephrase, I painstakingly painted it on.
Then I added the bird for a little feathery friend. Actually there's several. I love them. They're my peeps.
Here's one hiding.

you did a great job getting the stamp design on your wall... :) I'm so confused with what the other two bird images are, though, and WHERE they are...
LOVE it... Isn't GREY the best???
Thanks Misty. We LOVE the gray. Big G wanted me to paint one of the walls in the living room gray also. I had to say no to that.
I'll show you where the birds are...soon. :)
AWESOME! LOVE IT! WAY TO GO, GIRL!
