I've always been able to clean anything out of mine with just water and a rag....I've gotten ball point pen out, blood out, etc. If that doesn't work I'd probably try some spot shot.
I agree with Jen. Water has always worked, but not too much or you could get a water stain.
Thanks ladies. I did try water and so far it's worked fine.
