Ahhh. It feels so good to wake up in my very own house. In my very own bed. To eat breakfast off of my very own dishes.
Let me clarify that staying at my parents house for 4 months was a HUGE blessing. We are truly grateful for their hospitality. But...
man it's good to be *home*. I had a big smile on my face as I wrote that.
In a nutshell...
We're almost done putting stuff away. School started last Monday. Dad started installing our new hardwood floors this morning. We've ripped the carpet out of Kmac's room and filled the six billion holes in her wall to prepare for painting. I'm done going through boxes but still can't find things. Weird. Tommi has managed to stain 2 of our new microfiber dining room chair seats and G jr has broken one of the new glasses. I have 11 gallons of paint sitting in the garage waiting for walls to call home. We have talked to (and met) more neighbors in these past two weeks then in the whole 10 years we lived in our last house. Crazy. We layed sod in the front yard, back yard will have to wait until spring.
All in all, we absolutely L-O-V-E our new house. Thank you, Lord, for such a blessing as this.
