N-E-W H-O-U-S-E
Ahhhh, doesn't that just sound nice?
So, here's the story. We sold our house. amazingly. in 6 days. We put in an offer on a house that turned out to be a short sale. Short sales are not "short," at least not in the sense of time anyway. So on May 8 we moved into mom and dad's house. Since then we've been anxiously waiting...and waiting...and waiting. Finally, long story short (get it - short?), we got to the final step. 2 weeks ago we were told we'd made it through all the hoops and were just waiting on an approval letter from the bank. Does it really take that long to fill in a form letter and pop it in the mail?? No matter. God had different plans for us.
Just 4 houses down from the one we were trying to buy, a house went into foreclosure. Turns out it's almost the same floorplan, only it's (and here's the kicker) $56,000 less expensive. $56,000!! So we put in an offer. Tonight we found out that they accepted. Yeah!! If all goes well then we could close in as early as 2 weeks. That sure beats sitting around for almost 3 months not knowing anything.
Obviously it's not a done deal until we have keys in hand but I can't help but be completely overwhelmed by God's goodness.

Yay!!!!! Congratulations!
That is TERRIFIC!!!!! Congrats to you and Praise the Lord for his perfect timing.
Oh and nice new blog by the way ;)
hey, thanks for leaving on a comment on my blog: that way I have instant access to yours! *evil laughter*
Congrats on your house, how exciting! I'm trying hard not to be jealous since we were unable to sell our Boise house and it's become the albatross around our necks.
Your kids have *gasp!* grown! You've got to out the kabosh on that and stat!
