Horse camp

Monday afternoon we took Kmac (and her friend) up to Bible camp. She was pretty nervous about going but we were able to convince her friend her friend to go with her so she wouldn't be alone. Thankfully it didn't take much convincing.

It's a hard thing to leave you child alone, in the mountains, with a bunch of strangers, 2 hours away, for 4 days. I keep wondering what she's doing, who she's talking to, what she's having for dinner, is she having fun?, did she put her sunscreen on?, is she getting her feelings hurt?, does she want to come home?, does she NOT want to come home?

*Sigh*

The only way she was willing to go was because this camp offered horsemanship classes and trail riding. We signed her up for the horsemanship class and archery. (How fun is that!?) So for the past several months she's been telling people that she's going to 'horse' camp. It was really cute. We told her it was Bible camp with horse lessons, but no, she kept saying she was going to horse camp.

Well, this nervous mommy is hoping her little girl is enjoying 'horse' camp.
