i had lots of plans to make handmade gifts this year. unfortunately i'm a little behind. i could blame it on the bum wrist but knowing me i'd probably be in the same boat even without the ole club-arm.
i was able to get one project done (yeah!!). shonie (my sis) just moved into a new house so i asked if i could make some wall decorations to go in norma and will's rooms. norma's birthday was on thanksgiving and this is what i sent for her room...she turned 4.
will's birthday is 4 days after Christmas and i know what i'm doing but i can't seem to find the materials for it. his room is vintage cowboy (he'll be 2). super cute! i'm sure i'll be able to come up with something. i just need to get my hands on some vintage cowboy paper or fabric. any suggestions??
for Christmas i am hoping to be able to make bags for each of them. i've already gotten the books and games to put inside them so hopefully i'll be able to get them done. i'll post pics when (or if) they ever get finished.
i can't tell you the other projects i intend to tackle cuz it will spoil the surprise for all those sneaky blog-lurkers!

THEY DO have some super cute vintage paper in Meridian. I was there the other day. I have NO IDEA how to get to the new shop of K's, so we should meet tomorrow... maybe at the paper place. (just a suggestion. :) )
