Last night was my first weeks weigh in. Usually being called a loser is not something you aspire to, except in the case of Weight Watchers. Now don't get me wrong, we don't go into the meetings and the leader stands around calling everyone losers. But when you waddle up onto that scale and see the numbers dance around and finally land on 5 lbs. less than what you weighed the week before, you can't help but be proud of what a big loser you are.
Yesiree. 5 lbs. WAHOO! Yep, I am pretty happy with that little kickstart.
The best part - Yesterday morning (before he knew what a big loser I was) my sweetheart says, "Have you lost weight? You look like it." Ahhh, couldn't you just hug the guy. Yeah, me too.
So, now for the numbers. I'm down to 193.4 with 38.4 to go.

Great job!!!
Good for you!!! Those first pounds are so encouraging! :) I am silent accountability partner person thing, starting off at the same weight as you. I've got 80lbs to lose because I want to get back into my Marine Corp shape. I just don't have as much courage as you do to post it on my blog :)
Thanks Katey!
Wendy - I seriously have to get into a certain mindset. If I'm not then it's pointless for me to even try. But when I do, I get tunnel vision and just do it like it's no big deal. I've started W.W. about 6 different times now. I was only successful once - losing 83 lbs (if you didn't see my original post on accountablity). I'm feeling tunnel vision this time though. I can channel some your way if you'd like. :)
Hooray! :0)
