Milestones for G Jr

This has been an exciting 24 hours for G Jr. To start it off, last night he lost his first tooth. He has been waiting ever so patiently for this glorious occurrence. He has been fighting off the big green envy monster as his older sis keeps popping teeth out of her head. Finally his day has come and he's oh so happy. We don't "do" the tooth fairy but he still slept with it under his pillow none the less - just to have it close.
Interesting thing though, his new tooth is already coming in...behind the others. I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture. I'm hoping it'll miraculously jump up into position with the others.
Has anyone else ever dealt with a rogue tooth?
As if this wasn't enough excitement for our little family, today G Jr had to top it off. We went swimming at the YMCA. G Jr took the swim test to get a ultra stylish swim bracelet made of curling ribbon. The different colors of ribbon correspond to their swim level and what areas of the pool that they're allowed into. There are 3 colors. G Jr has only gotten up to the middle color. He finally passed the swim test to get the "green" ribbon which is basically an all-access pass. Wahoo! He had to swim 2 laps to get the coveted green ribbon. As if that wasn't enough, then he decided to go off the diving board. He cautiously walked out to the very end, stood there in his goggles and nose plug looking down at his daddy waiting for him in the water below, plugging his nose with his thumb and finger (for added pluggage) and jumped! It was an proud moment for daddy and I both. But then, as if that weren't enough, he made his way over to the high dive! I could barely look. Apparently he's braver than me cuz I still haven't gotten up there.
As Tommi and I were sitting on the side watching G Jr repeatedly go off the diving board she looks at me with a sparkle in her eyes and says, "My turn!!" and readies herself to jump down and make a run for the diving board. I guess it's just a matter of time before I have 3 little monkeys jumping off the board.

Wow, Tut! I will still call you Tut as I will never be able to adjust to Sugar Cubes. This is fantastic! I am so very impressed. What a great way to show off that family.

Yes, Emilee had a tooth like that that was poking out the back before the other tooth came out. Then once the tooth fell out that other one moved forward over time and is now perfectly in place...so no worries. It will probably be just fine. =0)

anonymous - You're not so anonymous you know. I feel like some lame pop star trying to get their lame name out there recognized by everyone..."it's not Sugar Cubes! It's Sugar Coma, Sugar Coma!!"
