Here is Kmac's room. We're getting close to being finished with it.
Here is her entry with her bulletin board, which we will spray paint and stamp horses on it. Her bed is to the left and her window to the right.
This is one of the 2 lamps that we refinished. They were originally all navy blue so we spray painted the base brown and covered the shade with some cute fabric.
Here is her bookcase under her window and her desk.
Here are her bunkbeds with her new bedding. There is kind of a cove there that the bed sits back in. The closet is along the wall next to the nightstand.
The nightstand will be taken away once we hang a shelf (or shelves) for her above the bed. She sleeps on the top bunk so she needs her lamp, alarm clock and current reads available for easy access.
Dresser and desk and her cool horse Wallies. Aren't they great?
Here is her chair that we found at Goodwill for $3.99. We're going to toss the pink pad, spray paint the metal to match the lamps and cover the seat in the horse fabric that is currently being used as a tablecloth for her bedside table.
She's starting to feel like this is really home. She's had the hardest time adjusting of all three kids. I think if we can finish the bulletin board, shelving and chair we'll call it good.
There is also new paint and carpet.
Kmac absolutely loves it and I guess that's all that matters.
