The tea party

I can't believe I forgot to post the pictures from the tea party. What tea party? The one my sweet munchkins had for me last week...or two posts ago...whichever way you wanna look at it. They were so incredibly adorable, they were all dressed up...in layers of random, but dressy articles of clothing. Complete with hats made from paper plates, duct tape, and yarn.

I think it's hilarious how they used the plates from one set of dishes and the cups from another.
The cream (okay, it was milk) and sugar were in measuring cups with a measuring spoon to dish out the sugar.

Kmac thought it was terribly funny that I came to the party with a nice southern drawl. I couldn't quite get my English accent to work for me and so I turned into a southern belle instead. They drank tea, right? Well, at my house they do.

The boy thought it was appropriate to bust out with the raised pinky. We all followed suit because the raised pinky is highly appropriate for an English turned deep south tea party. And we weren't about to disrespect tea party etiquette.
Man I love those little kidlets. Good times.

So cute, you sweet little people! i love you guys... :) And seriously, hats made out of paper plates, yarn and duct tape. RESOURCEFUL! Were they USED plates because that could even be considered a little green. (except for the whole having paper plates things...)

p.s. haven't forgotten about the pattern. Just super busy!
