Little sumpin sumpin

a. Sorry I've been neglecting my blog.

b. I have a softball tournament in the morning. I really should be in bed right now.

c. We just celebrated my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary with a huge luau. It was so great to see family that I don't get to see very often.

d. Lord willing, I am going to start school on Monday. Little G-man is getting excited. That makes me happy. Tommi told me tonight (as we drove past a school) that she wanted to go to public school. I guess I'll have to WOW her this year. And apparently I will be teaching her to read. She insists.

e. I've been getting a lot of painting and projects done around the house. Pictures to come soon.

f. My sweet husband bought me a coffee table and end tables for my birthday. I've been wanting some since we moved in. I'm so glad I practiced a little patience (and stopped bugging him about gettting some), because I absolutely love them and they were an amazing steal.

g. G daddy has been driving a lot lately. One of our drivers quit and we've had a heck of a time trying to hire a replacement. Thankfully I think we found someone today that we'll be able to hire. Praise God!

h. I ate entirely too much cake at my grandparent's party (and after). I'm beginning to think a cake addict should not be a cake decorator.

i. We enjoyed a wonderful vacation last month at a resort in Oregon. The drive was long...and stressful...but thankfully no children were harmed or maimed in the making of this vacation.

j. I am head over heels, 100%, in love with our puppy. Even though she snores and farts a lot.

k. God is good.
