This was a throw together cake for my friend, Robin's, birthday. I was wanting to try a new recipe - white almond sour cream cake - and try this flower shaped pan I found at a thrift store for only $3 (Wahoo!) Well the cake was soooo yummy. It's my new favorite for white cake. No, I won't be posting the recipe because, well, it's not mine and I don't know who's it is. You can find it at cakecentral.com but you have to be a member to get on the site. Anyway...
It wasn't a throw together because I don't like Robin very much, I just didn't have very much time and I wasn't sure how well my wrist would hold up doing something more elaborate. That cake was about all I could handle so I made a good choice.
I love ya, Robin! Hope you had a great birthday.

You are so funny. By all means it didn't look like it was thrown together! And yes it was oh so yummy. Thank you so much for it.

It looks great! I would hate to see what my throw together cake would look like (probably like throw up!).
Oh wow! I could never throw something like that together!
